Argentine playmaker injured

NBA team,San Antonio player,Manu Ginobili of Argentina will undergo a surgery on his left ankle after aggravating an injuryduring the olympics. Ginobili suffered the injury during the National Basketball Association playoffs but rehabilitated the ankle and was declared fit to play in the Olympics, where he injured the same ankle.An examination conducted on his left ankle showed additional damage to the ankle.for the South American playmaker's return, Ginobili is going to be sidelined for six to eight weeks, which could mean he will miss the start of the upcoming NBA season. Ginobiliwas named the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year, an award for the top player off the bench. His keen desire to play in the Olympics might have hampered his NBA return however.
